Vila Valqueire is one of the best neighborhoods in the Western Zone, followed by Barra da Tijuca, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Praça Seca, Jacarepaguá, Freguesia e Anil.
Vila Valqueire is the home of Mulher Melão (famous funk dancer), Mulher Melancia (another famous dancer) and Hebert Neri (musician).
